About the Organization

Our Heritage & Dedicated Purpose

Leadership and community dedication at Senior Volunteer Services

Founding History & Roots

Senior Volunteer Services has mobilized older adults across the California Central Coast for decades. As the local sponsor of the national AmeriCorps Seniors Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), we harness lifetime expertise for social good.

Our volunteers mentor youth, deliver nutritional meals to homebound seniors, assist environmental stewardship initiatives, and serve at local historical museums, proving that retirement can be life's most impactful chapter.

Governance & Fiduciary Standards

Senior Volunteer Services operates under the governance of an independent, uncompensated Board of Directors dedicated to community welfare. Our leadership exercises active oversight over program budgets, ethical compliance, and executive administration.

As an IRS-designated 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN: 77-0433542), our annual financial statements and IRS Form 990 filings are maintained in open public record and available through our office or via GuideStar/Candid.
